The Kosta Wine & Food Festival is returning to the Craft Arena.

Kingdom of Crystal Glows

16 – 18 October

Under The Kingdom of Crystal is glowing a packed day in Kosta awaits the whole family. Stroll among local crafts and flavours at The autumn market, let your creativity flow in the creative workshop or try glassblowing yourself.

Discover Kosta Glassworks and see the glass being made, visit Kosta Boda Art Gallery and experience the autumn's new exhibition with the unveiling of Bertil Vallien's magnificent glass boat Grand Voyage. For those who want to meet the animals, there awaits Kosta Safaripark, and at Kosta Outlet it's going to be lovely Family day.

Stock up on something tasty at Kosta Delicatessen and end the day with an atmospheric Herring feast evening at Kosta Glass Centre.

Autumn dance and party night

On 24 October, Craft Arena transforms into a glittering dance palace when Lasse Stefanz and Northlake Shivers take to the stage with their timeless hits! Swing away to world-class dansband classics and country tunes – this is the night for you who love music, joy and community.

Fancy learning bugg? Now you have the chance to start from scratch! During the course at. 11am–4pm at Craft Arena you will learn basic steps, simple turns and how to get a good flow together with your dance partner. You don't need any prior experience – just a desire to dance and a willingness to have fun!

Price: £995 including lunch & fika.
Price with ticket to tonight's dance party: £1,640.

In the evening, it transforms Craft Arena to a proper dance palace when Lasse Stefanz and Northlake Shivers Hit the dance floor! Swing out to beloved dance band classics and country tunes and enjoy an evening filled with music, dancing and a wonderful atmosphere.

Kosta Christmas Market

21 November – 31 December

When darkness falls over Kosta, millions of Christmas lights illuminate the winter gloom in trees and buildings. Welcome through the grand market gates and experience a magical Christmas market filled with light, snow, Christmas trees and well-stocked market stalls. From the stalls, the scent of mulled wine, gingerbread and roasted almonds wafts through the air. Here you will find the finest quality crafts, made by local artisans in iron, wood and textiles. Everything from hand-dipped candles to forged candleholders, freshly baked saffron buns to pickled herring, warming sheepskins and delicious Christmas cheeses. In short, everything you want and need for Christmas!

Inside Kosta Outlet you will find a Christmas experience out of the ordinary, a magical Christmas world with a starry sky of twinkling Christmas lights and plenty of Christmas decorations. The shops are filled with tempting offers and you will easily find Christmas gifts for family and friends.

Julhyttsill with Tennessee Tears

19th and 20th November

Experience a fantastic evening with classic Christmas *hyttsill* and world-class entertainment featuring Tennessee Tears. Tennessee Tears, consisting of Tilda Feuk and Jonas Hermansson, are a Swedish country duo. Following their debut in Melodifestivalen, they captured the hearts of the Swedish people and have been touring Sweden ever since, and now it is time for Kosta once again!

The 'hyttsill' food, consisting of, amongst other things, salted herring, fried pork and baked potato, is served alongside Christmas favourites. The dessert naturally consists of the Småland favourite, cheesecake with jam and cream, served with coffee.

The Christmas herring starts at 19:00, with admission from 17:30
The evening is expected to last for about 3-4 hours.

Songs in the November darkness

Friday 20 November, 8.00 pm

We welcome two of Sweden's most beloved voices to an atmospheric evening filled with warmth, music and stories when Helen Sjöholm and Anna Stadling take to the stage.

Together they offer a personal and intimate musical encounter where the November darkness gives way to fellowship, reflection and hope. The evening features personal favourites, beloved songs, atmospheric winter and Christmas carols, and music from their shared treasure chest.

Yule herring with Partyfabriken

Saturday 21 November

Expect an evening filled with Christmas spirit, humour, sing-alongs, schnapps songs and plenty of music. During dinner, Partyfabriken will provide several musical performances featuring Christmas songs and schnapps songs. Once the food has been cleared away, the tempo is raised with two action-packed shows – first with beloved Swedish schlager classics and then with more modern hits.

The Great Rock Battle

Sing along to the musicians from Allsång på Skansen. Ewa's Sing-along Orchestra consists of some of Sweden's best and most experienced professional musicians. You have seen them in the house band for Allsång på Skansen, the house band for Let's Dance, Så ska det låta... on records, in theatres and with the very cream of Sweden's artists. Now we are coming to your Kosta hyttsill [herring feast] for a wonderfully swinging sing-along evening.

Christmas herring lunch with Robert Wells

4 and 5 December, at 18:00

Robert Wells invites you to two very intimate and swinging Christmas concerts. A mix of anecdotes about Christmas, and Rhapsody in Rock, it will be an evening to remember. On the 4th and 5th of December, Robert Wells and his ensemble will be offering top-class Christmas entertainment. A proper ”Jingle Wells”.
