Kosta Boda Glassworks
is located 100 metres from the hotel. Kosta Glassworks is now Sweden’s oldest operational glassworks.
The furnaces have been going since 1742. Welcome in to the warmth to see genuine Swedish craft.
You are welcome here daily to see glass-blowing and production and to see crystal glass and art glass take shape through skilful craft.

Kosta Glass Centre is located in Kosta Glasswork Hyttgård and is open daily.
Kosta Boda Art Gallery
The Art Gallery where designers exhibit their work is located next to the glassworks.
Here you can also shop for unique products.
The Glass Factory
During the 60s and 70s, there was a hive of activity and creativity in Boda. It was here that Boda Smide, Boda Trä and Boda Nova started up. Above all, legends such as Erik Höglund, Signe Persson-Melin, Monica Backström, Rolf Sinnermark and Kjell Engman were active here. In 2009, the Municipality of Emmaboda bought the extensive glass collections from Boda, Kosta and Åfors Glassworks and the museum opened its doors in 2011.

By the old mill next to River Ronnebyån you’ll find a café, restaurant and craft village less than 30 min from Kosta.
Kingdom of Furniture Lammhult
For those with an interest in design, we recommend a visit to Älmhult and the Kingdom of Furniture.
Lessebo Hand Paper Mill
Here, paper has been produced by hand since 1693 and, in principle, the method has been the same for 300 years.
Kosta Safari Park
Open daily 10 am-10 am
At Kosta Safari Park, you can experience forest animals close-up. Take your car through the park and see the animals roaming free in the natural environment. Meet European bison, fallow deer, mouflon sheep, red deer and wild boar close-up.

Småland is an eldorado for anglers, and the watercourses around Kosta offer exciting fishing and crayfishing.
You can buy a fishing permit and equipment at Jaktia in Kosta.
There are good places to swim by many of the lakes around Kosta
Emmaboda Golf Club and Björketorpsbanan are beautifully situated by Lake Kyrksjön in Vissefjärda. Here you are offered a challenging park and woodland course suitable for beginners and professionals. You don’t pay extra for the nature experience.
Nybro Golf Club woodland course with a park character in the heart of the Kingdom of Crystal. “An acquaintance not to be missed” is the view of Golf Digest.
Möre Golf Club’s championship course, a parkland course that offers a challenging round of golf in a beautiful setting. The course is primarily characterised by its large elevated green areas and its waiting bunkers. Several holes follow the beautiful winding River Bruatorpså down towards the coast.
There is a mini-golf course by Kosta Lodge.
Grönåsen Moose Park
Grönåsen Moose Park is located 5 km from the hotel and offers experiences for young and old.
Little Rock Lake – zipline
Little Rock Lake is located 30 minutes north by car and has one of northern Europe’s longest ziplines.
Choose from the dizzying black line or the gentler green-blue one.
In the heart of Kosta there are two footpaths that go through the scenic Småland nature. Choose from 5 km or 8 km.
There is an illuminated track of 2.5-8 km in the centre of Kosta. The 2.5 km loop is illuminated.
Berry and mushroom picking
Head off into Småland’s forests that turn into a wonderful larder in the autumn. Remember that the Right of Public Access offers opportunities as well as responsibilities.
