Our journey started in 1742 when Kosta Glassworks was founded by two of Karl XII’s generals who laid the foundation for what would become one of Sweden’s best-known products – Swedish glass.

Kosta Boda Art Hotel is the hotel that explodes with colour, design and enjoyment made at the glassworks a stone’s throw away, designed by world-famous designers from Kosta Boda. Many come here for the history, art and glass but also for our award-winning spa. The extraordinary food is lovingly prepared from local produce, and Småland’s hospitality leaves nothing to chance. Others come for inspiring meetings or exciting excursions in the Kingdom of Crystal, but one thing they all have in common is that they leave here full of wonderful memories of an experience that leaves no one untouched…
